  We really enjoyed this home! The location was great and even though the MDI Marathon was happening right in Bar Harbor our spot was quiet and secluded. We had plenty of room for multiple activities on multiple levels of the house. We especially loved the hot tub after hiking and biking all day!
  
  Could have used a few more kitchen towels, but otherwise all was well stocked, clean and very comfortable. We ran out of gas for the grille, but happily there was another one available on site.
  
  The open floor plan accommodated a very smooth flow. Everyone enjoyed being able to spread out and gather in smaller groups as well as larger dinners.
  
  We plan to be back next year!

  Strawberry Hill was a wonderful place to spend a few days during our daughter’s wedding. It’s close to Acadia and a long walk into Bar Harbor. The place was immaculate and the kitchen well stocked for a family to use. There was room for everyone and was a great place to relax. The people we interacted with were very nice and polite.
  My only suggestion would be for the property to supply one roll of toilet
  paper per bathroom per day for the duration of the stay. They provide two
  rolls per bathroom per stay. If you’re staying a week, that won’t be enough.
  Charge an extra $5 or $10 per stay and provide toilet paper for the duration of the stay. At this price point for a rental property, it seems silly to cut corners this way. It was the first VRBO I rented where I experienced this.

  Great location for a large group with kids. Our family ages ranged from 2->78. Lots of bedrooms, bathrooms and AC units in most rooms. (Check closets if no AC in a room) Nice clean property part way up Strawberry Hill. Walk-able into town, but we drove part way then walked, to avoid parking problems. Basement has all sorts of games and game tables. Large fully equipped kitchen, gas grill on deck, and large Roku equipped TV in living-room. Property management company responded rapidly. Be careful of letting kids explore the woods as one stumbled over a hornets nest and got stung. We never did find the first aid kit, which is supposed to be there.
