We arrived in a downpour and had an issue with the digital lock. Called the manager, who immediately answered, and our issue was solved.
Our dogs had a great time in the fenced yard. The sun porch is great, we had breakfast out there everyday! The kitchen is very well stocked. The only thing that would make it better would be a king size bed instead of a queen! Other than that, I would definitely recommend this property and we are actually thinking about renting it again next year!

Charming , clean, equipped with everything that you might think of. Located on a shoreline. Unfortunately house itself is 55 minutes away from majority of trails in Acadia National Park
We had a power outage in the last night of stay because of storm and management was rude over the phone, but it was 7am on Sunday, so not a big deal, she did sent a follow up message few minutes later apologizing.

A lovely home in a beautiful setting with flower garden, mature forest and lots of yard and deck. Homes nearby are far enough away it feels like you’re by yourself on Mt Desert Narrows. So interesting to see the tidal currents ebb and flow in the narrows. The kids loved the bunk beds, s’mores at the fire pit, horse shoes, sun room and enjoyed coming over each morning to wake up Grandma and Grandpa in the garage loft. Property manger was exceptional - very responsive; made check in / check out easy! A great place to stay in Maine near Acadia!
Our Niece said it was 100% her dream home.

Good morning America! The Schoodic Peninsula is the only part of the National Park located on the mainland of the State of Maine. If spending several days on MDI, you should check this part of the park out. There is ferry service there and free seasonal bus service.

The Union River in Ellsworth. Maine is beautiful in all season, but is there anything more glorious than an autumn afternoon?
