  88 Union Ave., Old Orchard Beach, Maine is a really nice play to stay for an extended period -- as we did -- of three weeks. The place is exceptionally well-appointed, excellent air conditioning, top of the line appliances, nice furniture, and has virtually everything you might need to make your holiday easy. Each unit of the six has its own small balcony and camp chairs are provided so you can have your morning coffee and read your newspaper. It is dog friendly so we would on occasion run into other canine guests which would cause a minor ruckus but everyone was tolerant which made it comfortable to be there. We found lots of worthwhile places to pick up coffee, sandwiches, ice cream, lobster rolls, and various ethnic cuisines. The neighborhood is varied with lovely homes interspersed with what look like tear downs, at the same time it feels safe to walk around any time day or night and is pretty quiet. Just a 10 minute walk to the ocean beach which is glorious. Not unusual to find dozens of people watching the sunrise with awe and reverence.
