As you step into the cabin, a roomy living room welcomes you with the warmth of a wood stove, creating a snug atmosphere on cool evenings. Drift off to sleep to the soundtrack of loons and owls in the bedroom with views of the lake upstairs and a full bed fully dressed with crisp, clean linens and a warm. fluffy comforter. There is even an electric mattress warmer for those chillier nights. The full kitchen is equipped with modern amenities, providing a seamless blend of convenience and charm. For those who seek a connection with nature, the cleanest outhouse experience you have ever had adds a touch of authenticity to the experience. During the warm months, there is an outdoor shower with soap, shampoo, conditioner and towels provided. Bring your own drinking water! Water is turned off from late Fall through Spring.

The cabin's charm extends outdoors to a large front porch that offers breathtaking views of the private lake. Immerse yourself in the beauty of the surroundings and the promise of great fishing. There is a dock that extends into Toddy Pond offering great access to the lake. The lake, crystal clear and teeming with wildlife, provides a haven for canoeing, kayaking, and lazy summer floats under the clear skies. A canoe and kayak are provided. There is even a paddle boat for tooling around exploring excursions. Your dog is welcome at our vacation home and will absolutely love it!

Evenings come alive around the fire pit, where you can gather under the starry skies, sharing stories and creating memories. A gas grill stands ready for delightful outdoor meals, adding a touch of luxury to the rustic experience. The atmosphere is one of peace and quiet, allowing you to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life.

  The rental was exactly what we were looking for. Clean, quiet, great views of the water, and private. The interior was very thoughtfully designed for maximum space and it had everything we needed to enjoy the long weekend without having to bring everything from home. The only negative was not having hot water in the kitchen to wash dishes. We would absolutely come again!

  I loved staying at this cabin. It’s such a wonderful mix of rustic and modern and I would have loved to stay longer. The location is private (took me about 5 minutes to drive in to the cabin from the main road) and the lake is peaceful. I especially appreciated the pleasant smell of the cabin every time I entered. I was disappointed not to find any dish soap (and when I asked the reply was something like: “usually there’s dish soap but maybe there isn’t”— which was entirely unhelpful!). I would recommend an update to the VRBO listing which specifically states that shower products are provided (and shows a photo!). Shampoo and conditioner were not provided for my stay.
